Friday Football Predictions

The table is every football fixture we carry for Friday. In many weeks that means a night game in Germany, England, France, Portugal, or another league that starts its round early, plus cups or postponed matches. It does not include Saturday's 3pm block.

When you open this page on Friday, the games are today's. When you open it earlier in the week, they are the coming Friday. After Friday passes, the page advances to the next one.

Broadcasters and leagues often pick one or two Friday fixtures rather than a full round. A short list is a feature: you can read team news, rest days, and the market instead of scanning forty rows. It is a poor reason to invent extra legs.

Night games can play differently from Saturday afternoon fixtures. Travel, the crowd, and a side's habit of starting quickly all matter more when there is only one match on television in that country.

Friday team news is useful twice. It settles the Friday game, and it sometimes hints at who is being saved for Sunday. Do not assume a rested star is a Friday starter. Wait for the lineup if the price depends on one player.
